The GEME Kobold contains a mix of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and heat-resistant strains, designed to efficiently break down food waste. It also includes lignin and moisture regulators, acting as carbon supplements for balancing the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio in compost. The rapid reproduction of these microbes drives the decomposition process. In contrast, Lomi Pod function mainly as placebos, where the decomposition is largely achieved through high heat and grinding, operating on a completely different principle.
